These terms of trade apply to purchases of experiences, team building and gift cards at Countdown Escape Rooms. The Danish version is the legally binding one.

Services and prices
We offer escape room experiences, team building and gift cards. Prices are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) including VAT. The price of a booking depends on the number of participants and rooms and is shown before you confirm your purchase.
Ordering and payment
Booking takes place online via our booking system (Off The Couch). No payment is taken when you book — payment is made on the day at our venue by card or MobilePay, and you only pay for the number of participants who turn up. Once your booking is confirmed, you receive a confirmation by email. Gift card purchases, however, are paid online by card through Stripe.
Changes and cancellation
Since no payment is taken when you book, you can change or cancel your booking free of charge. We simply ask you to let us know as soon as possible, and ideally at least 24 hours ahead, so someone else can take the slot. The number of participants can be changed freely — you only pay for those who turn up.
Gift cards
Gift cards are digital and sent by email. They are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase and can be used on any of our escape rooms. A gift card is redeemed by entering the code at checkout when booking online. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
Right of withdrawal
Purchasing an experience for a specific date and time is a leisure activity with a set date and is therefore exempt from the usual 14-day right of withdrawal, cf. the Danish Consumer Contracts Act § 18(2)(12). Changes and cancellation instead follow the terms above.
Complaints
If you experience a problem, we'd like to hear from you so we can find a solution. A complaint about a product or service can be submitted to the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority's Centre for Complaint Resolution, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby (forbrug.dk). You may also use the EU Commission's online dispute platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Liability
Participation is at your own responsibility. Always follow staff instructions and the safety rules in force during your visit.
Governing law
Purchases from Countdown ApS are governed by Danish law.
